Maths
This half term, we started to look at shapes. We have been learning about the different types of angles (Acute, Obtuse, Right angle and Reflex) and how to calculate angles around a point and on a straight line.
English
We have started a new book this half term and we will be learning all about the Suffragettes. We have started by looking at the lives of four suffragettes in particular.
History
We have started our work on the Victorians and the Industrial Revolution. We have been recapping the Victorian era and researched what the industrial revolution was. We have looked at our town of Hyde and how the Victorians effected Hyde. We have been on a walk around Hyde looking at the different buildings built in the Victorian era that remain.

Science
In Science, we have continued our work on the properties of materials. We have looked at filtering and which material would be the best for filtering a substance from a solution.

In art, we are linking our work to our topic on Victorians. We have been looking at an artist called Len Grant.
