CDAT

CDAT

History and Vision

CDAT was formed in 2014 by the Chester Diocesan Board of Education (DBE), and has worked in very close partnership with the DBE ever since its inception. The Trust has a distinctive ethos that is clearly rooted in the Gospel. Christian values impact on every area of our work and are communicated and shared in such a way that all member schools can understand them.  Although the Trust was initially set up by the DBE, it is fully inclusive and we are happy to welcome both church and community schools into the CDAT family.

Rooted in Christian values, CDAT is committed to:

  • Valuing the uniqueness of every child
  • Aspiring to excellence
  • Being a nurturing learning community for all

Jesus said, ‘I have come in order that you might have life—life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10). As a Trust, our aim is to ensure that all of our pupils are able to benefit from and enjoy ‘life in all its fullness.’
