Our value this half term is SERVICE

Christians believe that through his person, ministry and relationship with God, Jesus showed what it was to be called the ‘Servant King’. Christians believe that in serving others they are serving God and that God wants us all to use our talents and abilities to serve each other.

Through Collective Worship and exploring Service we will be thinking about:

• How are children encouraged to serve one another?
• How are acts of Service celebrated in school?
• Are school members active in service in the wider community?
• Which areas of the curriculum enable the children to consider the importance of Service?
• Are children aware of the adults who offer their service in the community and how they do this?
• How do children show their appreciation and gratitude to those who serve them?
