Our value this half term is Respect

Christians believe that in respecting others they are showing respect to God and that God wants us treat other people as we would want to be treated ourselves. God wants us to follow the golden rule: ‘Do unto others as you would have them do to you.’ Matthew7:12

Through Collective Worship and exploring Respect we will be thinking about:

• Showing respect by praying for others

• Valuing differences and understanding that we are all special and unique in the eyes of God

• Valuing others as we would like to be valued

• Valuing special places

• Valuing different opinions
