Our Value for this Half Term is Generosity

"God loves a cheerful giver" Corinthians 9:7 

As part of our value generosity we have learnt that being generious is not just about giving people gifts but also about giving your time. We thought about how people have been generous to us and how we can show generosity to others. 

English

As part of our English learning this half term, we’ve continued to explore Roald Dahl’s “The Magic Finger.” Inspired by the story, we brainstormed words to describe the experience of a storm. We then created some amazing artwork that allowed us to use our imaginating learning muscle to draw what we thought a storm might be like.

VE Day

We had a fantastic day dressed in red, white, and blue to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day. The children took part in a range of activities to learn about the significance of Victory in Europe Day and why it is an important moment in history.
