Our Value for this half term is Truthfulness.

Let all that you do be done in Love

1 Corinthians 16:14

This half term we will be exploring the question:

As St Georges School we enjoyed learning about St George on St Georges Day. We reflected on the corage and bravery he had shown and thought about times when we had shown courage.

To help us answer the question "where does our food come from?" We shared the story of Olivers Vegetables. We learnt about the different vegetables Oliver found and how they grow. Some we recognised, some we had not seen before. We then made soup using Olivers vegetables. We practiced our chopping skills and enjoyed collaborating to create a tasty soup which we all tried!

As part of our learning in maths we have explored our number bonds to 10. We can recall the pairs of numbers that make 10 and love to use these facts as we solve problems and play games together. We can show the bonds in a variety of ways. For example, on a tens frame, using numicon and on a part part whole model.
