Our Values for this Half Term are Truthfulness and Honesty

"And you will know the truth and the truth shall set you free" John 8:32

"Do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth when you know it" Quran 2:42

In year 2 we have enjoyed learning about our new school values of truthfulness and honesty and as a class we  have written an acrostic poem to share what our values mean to us.  

Truthfulness is important 

Remember to tell the truth 

Understanding honesty

Telling the truth makes you have more friends 

Having to tell the truth is not always easy

English

In English we have started to read the story "The Moth."

We have compared differences between a moth and a butterfly. Some of the key differences include: Moths are dull and butterflies are bright, Moths rest with their wings spread out whereas butteflies close their wings and moths have furry, feathered antennae.
