Spring 2 2026
SCIENCE -
We have been investigating melting as part of our science lessons on changes of state. We observed chocolate melt and made some crispie buns to share with the class and teachers.
HOCKEY TEAM- Well done to our hockey players today. They worked fantastic as a team, collaborating well and persevering when it was tricky. We are very proud of you all.

RE Learning for this half term.
We have been finishing off our RE learning about prayer and focused on Hinduism. We were taught about Puja and the thaal tray. Nikita shared her knowledge with us too. It has been interesting to hear all about how different faiths pray and compare the similarities and differences with them all.
SPANISH DAY
We have had a fantastic day today preparing for our Spanish tapas feast. Everyone joined in with the selection of food and drink available and worked well together. We have been chopping, peeling, grating, slicing, threading, coring, mashing and mixing our ingredients. We have some very talented chefs in the making in Year 4.
As well as the tapas preparations, we have have been practising our Spanish speaking, playing games, singing songs and looking at what is traditionally Spanish. It has been a lovely day and we are very thankful to the parents who came to join us. We hope you had a lovely time too.
EASTER JOURNEY
We had a lovely time in church and back in school as we were learning about Easter and following the journey of Jesus during Holy Week. We all prepared a station to visit and were able to see what everyone else had been learning too. We were learning about betrayal in the Easter story and looked at Peter and Judas's story.
After following the Easter story in church, we came back to school to have our Easter breakfast and complete some of the reflections.
