Spring 2 2026
Our Value for this Half Term is Forgiveness

Though we are overwhelmed by our sins, you forgive them all. Plasm 65:3
As part of our value forgiveness we have thought about times when we had to forgive others. We discussed how sometimes we might not forgive someone immediatley, but if we hold on to negative feelings, it can make us unhappy. Learning to forgive helps us to build better relationships. We have also created Teaspoon prayers to help us to say Thank you, Sorry and Please.
World Book Day 2026

Art
This half term in Art, we explored the inspiring work of Bengali artist Zainul Abedin. Inspired by his style, we collaborated to create a large group artwork featuring birds, elephants, trees, flowers and buildings. Everyone contributed with care, creativity and real teamwork. The final piece is colourful and very detailed showcasing our learning. We are incredibly proud of the beautiful artwork we produced together.

Easter Experience
Each class was given a different part of the Easter story to explore and turn into a reflective station. Year 2 focused on the Last Supper, learning about its meaning and why it was such an important moment during Holy week. We all really enjoyed taking part in the Easter Experience at church. The children engaged thoughtfully with each station and completed their reflections from the other parts of the story. It was a brilliant way to learn about the Easter Story.
