Our Value for this Half Term is Service. 

"Serve one another in love" Galatians 5:13

As part of our school value of Service, we have been exploring the different ways we can serve others and recognising how others have served us. The children designed their own medals and presented them to people who have supported or helped them.

English

As part of our English learning based on The Dark by Lemony Snicket, we have produced an independent piece of writing in the form of a diary extract. We followed our success criteria carefully, making sure to use capital letters, full stops, finger spaces, conjunctions and plenty of wow words. Everyone worked extremely hard, and we have each been given a new target to help make our writing even better next time.

Science

This half term in Science, we’ve been exploring animals and the different habitats they live in. We’ve now moved on to learning about food chains, thinking about how animals rely on one another for food in order to survive. The children then had a go at creating their own food chains, showing how energy is passed from one living thing to another.
