This term we have been looking at all our different numbers between 1 - 50.

Our focus had been on 'Addition to 10' and 'Addition to 20'.

Throughout our Autumn Term, we have been introduced to 'Story Steps'. 

Story Steps is a music and movement - based storying telling programme. Story Steps allows us to act out immersive story adventures as class, building confidence, teamwork, and imagination.

Our story for this term is 'The Magical Waterful'!

This term our PE lessons have consisted of consolidating our learning of the sport Football, controlling and dribbling the ball towards the net!

This term our English lessons have consisted of composing our own sentenes!

With every sentence I compose, I am always make sure I have the corret letter formation and full stops.

Week beginning 8th September - Noah's Ark.

This week, we have been learning about Noah's Ark. Noah's Ark symbolises 'Hope', Noah saved many differernt animals from 40 days and 40 nights worth of rain before spotting a rainbow in the sky. The flood had disappeared!

We created our own lion portrait using forks and paint.

Week beginning 15th September - All About Me.

This weeks learning has invovled learing about myself and all my friends within my class.

Week beginning 22nd September - Emergency Services.

This week, we have been learing about important people, understanding and recognising their role and emergency vehicle within our community.

Week beginning 29th September - Functional Skills and Development.

This week, we have been working really hard to become independent with key skills such as 'Putting our socks and shoes on', 'Zipping up our coats', and 'Washing our Hands'.

Week beginning 6th Octorber - Feelings and Emotions.

This week, we have been learning about our different emotions, understanding how we might feel when we are 'Happy', 'Sad', 'Angry', and 'Okay'.

Week beginning 13th October - Food Around the World.

This week our learning has been focused on Italy! We have been learning about different food you can find in Italy.

We have also been learning about the Italian flag and the colours within it.

Week beginning 20th October - Harvest.

This week we have been learning about Harvest and the importance of being thankful for the food we eat. We created our own acrostic poem around 'Harvest'.

This week we have also been developing our fine motor skills by hammering pins into pumpkins!
