Our learning challenge this half-term is 'What Makes a River?'

Our value for this half-term is peace. We will reflect on what it means to bring peace to others and explore teachings from the Bible and other holy books, focusing on how they encourage us to treat people with fairness, kindness and respect.

Chess 

We have been enjoying learning how to play chess this half-term. It has been a fun and challenging experience, helping us to build our concentration, patience and problem-solving skills.

Design Technology - Lighthouses

This half-term in Design Technology, we designed and made our own lighthouses. We used our science learning about light to guide our ideas and designs. First, we built circuits to create a working light. We made sure to use traditional colours in our final designs.

 

Christmas Nativity

Year 3 enjoyed taking part in this year's nativity - The Magical Christmas Jigsaw. 

 

Christmas Dinner 

Year 3 had a wonderful time enjoying their festive Christmas dinner together.
