Stay and Play
Covid 19 Autumn 2020
Sadly, due to Covid 19 we are unable to run our Stay and Play Group as normal. We have been in touch with parents and hope to resume the group as soon as it is safe to do so.
If you are struggling and need support please don't be afraid to contact school and ask to speak to Fiona.
Tameside have reminded us about their free wonderful Parenting Offer using the Solihull approach.

School Readiness
St George's School was part of a working party with the South Neighbourhood Learning Circle looking at ways to improve school readiness.
We worked with Greenfield Primary School, Early Years Services, Library Service, Health Visitors, Parenting Services, the Family Information Service and the Bangladeshi Welfare Association to put on a Saturday morning event on 9th November 2019 to show families what's on in Hyde for pre-schoolers. The Story Maker came to the event which was great fun!

Thursdays 9am-10am
Every Thursday morning during term time Stay and Play is open in the Nursery Building. We sing, read stories, play with dough and toys and have a snack time together. Parents, Grandparents, Carers are all welcome to come and enjoy this session for babies and pre-schoolers. It is a wonderful way to help get your child ready for Nursery and School.
Nativity 2019
We are intending to have a short Nativity play with our little ones from Stay and Play on Thursday 12th December 2019 at 9am.
