Christmas Nativities at St George’s 2019

This year we produced four amazing nativities throughout school. The first to set the scene was an amazing performance by the Stay and Play group who shared their story of the Christmas nativity. They were amazing and ranged from 3 months old to 80 years old all taking part on stage. It just shows you are never too old to play !  Well done to everyone.

Nursery and Reception classes followed with their songs about the Christmas story followed by a shared Christmas craft session with their families. Everyone had a great time

Year 1 and Year 2 wowed us with their great performance of 'Hey Ewe'. All of the singing and acting was amazing and again the children performed with confidence and enthusiasm. There were some outstanding soloists and amazing actors and the singing lifted the roof!

Finally, Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 brought the events of the Christmas story to life with their evening nativty in church - always a very special atmosphere, and lovely to see the church so full with families, parishioners, governorsand past pupils. Again there were some hidden talents in the singing, dancing and the acting, and the solo spots. Another amazing performance everyone!

We are so very proud that every child in school has taken part in one of the Christmas productions which not only helps to share the Christmas story but also helps our children to grow in confidence and work together through the values of our school. This is one of the busiest time in the year but a very special time to share our celebrations with others. Well done to everyone and also a special thanks to our families and friends for supporting the children.
