We had great fun joining in with and adding actions to the poem Zim Zam Zoom by James Carter.

We have been getting to know our Year 6 buddies.  They helped us with our challenges and followed instructions on how to make Space soup.  We had a great time and look forward to them coming again.

We used the questioning queen puppet to help us with our learning. We used hot seating where we put ourselves in the place of an  astronaut.  We thought of lots of questions which we asked our astronauts.

Reading Folders – Please bring them into school every day.

Library books – Please return library books on a Tuesday as this is the day that we visit the library.

PE kits – PE kits should remain in school on your child’s peg as our PE times can change.

Clothing – Please can you make sure all clothing is labelled with your child’s name. We often play in water outside and change into wellington boots, so please also name your child’s shoes.

Thank you for your support

The Reception Team

The children used their imagination to role play the story "Whatever Next" by Jill Murphy.  They used the story symbols to help them order events in the story and of course props too!  We had a great time.

Here we are exploring the different areas in our Foundation Stage building.  We followed instructions on how to make playdough.

Today we collaborated with our partners to make a rocket out of Numicon.  We looked at what each of the pieces represented and then moved them into various positions to make them into a rocket shape.
