Welcome to Nursery in Autumn 2

Whole school(1)
Autumn2

Nursery children and their parents had a fantastic time when we visited Tatton Park. We enjoyed seeing the animals, singing songs, meeting Father Christmas, listening to stories and exploring the mansion house to see the Christmas decorations.

This half term

This half term our whole school question is 'Can you imagine a world without words?'

The question that we will be investigating is Can a rhyme tell a story?

We visit the school library every Wednesday.  Please remember to bring library books so that we can change them.

Please join us every Thursday for stories and rhymes at 3.00pm

We've been learning the rhyme 'Ring-a-ring o' roses, a pocketful of posies, atishoo, atishoo, we all fall down.  Fishes in the water, fishes in the sea, we all jump up with a 1, 2, 3!'  We went to the local supermarket to see what fish and posies really look like.  When we were back at school we tasted some fish from the supermarket, and made pictures with flowers.

Nursery enjoyed their Christmas party and were very excited when a very special visitor arrived.  We also had lots of fun dancing, playing games and singing our favourite Christmas songs.
