Where Children love to learn and learn to love.

Mission Statement

The example of Jesus Christ and the Good news that he brought inspire St George’s school to be a caring and inclusive community in which children love to learn and learn to love.

Welcome

Welcome to the St George's Primary School Website. We hope you find it interesting and helpful when looking for information about our school.

We are very proud of our school and its caring Christian atmosphere. Every child is valued and we aim to provide an education which meets individual needs and allows all children to reach their full potential, whilst developing confidence and a sense of self worth.

St George’s has a dedicated and motivated staff team who work hard to achieve the very best for every child here. We also recognise and value the support parents provide as important partners in their children’s education.

Yours sincerely

PM Walker (Headteacher)

Building Learning Powers and Growth Mindset - this term we will be focusing on Reflectiveness.

The Christian Value we are exploring this half term is Compassion.

As it is also Lent we are asking the children to do a 40 Day Lenten Challenge by doing an act of kindness every day in Lent. This could be bringing an item into school for the Food Bank or writing down what they have done for our Compassion Display Board.
