Mr Nuttall  x

We considered our responsibility for God's creatures and created some animal art pieces for the hall display! We are thinking about or vision, 'Let all that you do be done in Love' 1 Corinthians 16:14

Take a look at all our wonderful Responsibility acrostic poems!

Our value this half term is responsibility and we have really shown that we do everything in love at St George's. We wrote our own acrostic poems while reflecting on what responsibility means to us as individuals. Many of us agreed responsibility is about being a positive influence on others and for ourselves, it means taking care of each other and having pride in our learning.

We have been busy in school, starting our RE booklets about modern people, called by God. We can’t wait to see the booklets from home and to share our learning with everyone!

Healthy body and healthy minds as part of Children’s Mental Health Week

Modern heroes who were called by God...

We challenged our RE experts to research modern day people who have been called by God and then create a booklet to share their research with others!

These people have modelled our school vision by showing that all that they did was done in love!

We are so proud of our cross-curricular writing and how creative our children have been!

Enjoying our Spanish lessons and learning ‘los colores’

In Spanish this week we had to use a combination of creativity and memory to learn all about the colours in Spanish! We not only learnt how to say the colours in Spanish but collaborated in mixing the colours together, linking in our art knowledge, to see what they would make!

The Daily Mile and Just Dance

What an energetic Thursday we have had - great for our well-being!

Can you find a Just Dance clip on YouTube and enjoy stretching your imitating muscle?

How about completing the daily mile as part of your daily exercise? You'll have to persevere to make it to the finish line!

Our 3D River Projects!

We have been making links with our learning this half term and using this information to create our own 3D river models - these are amazing and show off our learning perfectly!
