British Science Week 2022

This week is British Science Week and what a great way to get it started! We were visited by Mr Tabernor from Alder Community High School who inspired us with his ‘magic’ - We can’t wait to work like scientists this week and grow our brains! 

This week we have invited our families into school to join us for some science workshops. The first one for Year 3 and Year 6 was a great success!  

The children and grown-ups had an amazing time exploring how and why things happen. 

Year 4 have been preparing the garden area for planting seeds for the meadow they would like to grow.

They have also been looking at their freezing liquids investigation and observing changes of state.
